The IDSE project is given a grant by Brittany but the Mayor blocks it.
Region, anxious to support innovative projects, launched in late 2012 a call for proposals Local Loop Energy (BEL) to support the territories by establishing consistent energy policies based on the development of a local energy mix, the implementation of uses and energy saving investments and the development of smart grids.
In an attempt to support innovating projects, Brittany launched at the end of 2012 the Local Energy Loop call for project in order to support areas implementing coherent energy policies that focus on the development of a local energy mix, the implementation of uses and investments of energy savings, and the implementation of smart networks. The Île-de-Sein Energies project, then represented in the name of the company being created, was one of the five recipients of this call for projects. Brittany thus grants IDSE €30,000, which - as stipulated in the rules and regulations - should be granted through the municipality. As the Mayor of Sein does not wish to claim the funds, it is currently blocked... (a letter sent on 12th November 2013 has received no reply and no discussion was pursued amongst the Municipality Council.)
